Terra is Founder and Principal at Brigid Executive Consulting, which advises senior executives on how to use technology and technology-enabled business models to transform their businesses. Her clients range from start-ups to publicly listed companies such as Microsoft.
Prior to founding her own firm, Terra was a Director at Microsoft Office Live, where she managed US and worldwide outbound marketing for Office Live and launched the business in the UK, France, Germany and Japan.
Before Microsoft, Terra was General Manager of Jobs at LinkedIn, where she ran the job listings business. Terra has also been a Director at AT&T Wireless, where she led product marketing for over $1b in mobile devices, and an Engagement Manager in the Silicon Valley office of McKinsey & Company as a member of the Software and Services practice. She came to McKinsey from the start-up world, after five years at Sequoia-funded start-up Infinity Financial Technology, which IPOed in 1996.
Terra has a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. She has served on the board of both venture-backed technology companies and non-profit organizations, and currently is providing pro-bono consulting for QuestBridge, a non-profit that helps talented low-income high school students apply to top-tier colleges and universities.
